Rattle Drum is an interactive app inspired by the traditional Chinese rattle drum. The App does not require an account. Gameplay records and preferences are primarily stored locally on your device. Motion sensor readings are used in real time to make the drum respond when you shake your device.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Rattle Drum mobile application or WeChat Mini Program (collectively, the "App") and when you visit this Policy page. "Rattle Drum," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the developer identified on the App's applicable distribution page.
2. Information We Process
Local gameplay and settings data. The App stores information such as shake and hit counts, highest combo, achievements, selected and unlocked skins, skins you have tried, language, and sound, vibration, sensor, and sensitivity settings in local app storage on your device. This data restores your progress and preferences. The App does not provide a cloud account or cross-device synchronization for this data.
Motion sensor data. If shake controls are enabled, the App reads accelerometer measurements while the main play screen is active. The readings are used in real time to estimate shake direction and strength and trigger animation, sound, vibration, and gameplay counts. Raw motion readings are not retained as a history or uploaded by the App.
Purchase information. In the Android version, if you purchase or restore an eligible drum skin, Google Play Billing provides the App with transaction-related information such as product identifier, purchase state, and purchase token. Google Play processes your payment details. We do not receive or store your full payment card information. The App uses transaction information only to complete, acknowledge, and restore the purchased skin.
Advertising information. In the WeChat Mini Program, you may choose to watch a rewarded video to unlock an eligible skin. WeChat's advertising service may process device, network, advertising, and interaction information to request, deliver, measure, secure, and limit ads under its own terms and privacy rules. The App receives whether the rewarded video was completed so it can decide whether to unlock the skin.
Technical logs for this page. When you visit this Policy page, the hosting service may automatically record standard technical information, including IP address, access time, requested URL, browser or device user agent, and security logs. This information is used to deliver and secure the page and troubleshoot service issues.
3. Permissions and Device Capabilities

The App does not require you to provide a name, phone number, contact list, precise location, camera recording, microphone recording, or photo library content for its core drum gameplay.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide drum interaction, animation, sound, vibration, skins, achievements, and local statistics;
- Save and restore your local progress and preferences;
- Complete and restore purchases and grant earned advertising rewards;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and support reliable operation; and
- Comply with applicable law and protect legal rights and safety where necessary.
5. Third-Party Services and Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Depending on the platform and the features you use, the App may interact with WeChat and its advertising services, Google Play and Google Play Billing, the DCloud uni-app runtime, and infrastructure providers that host this Policy. These providers may process necessary technical or transaction information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their practices are governed by their policies, not this Policy.
We may also disclose information if required by applicable law, a court, or a competent authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, legal rights, property, or service security.
6. Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Gameplay records, settings, achievements, and skin status remain in local app storage until you clear the App's data, clear the Mini Program's data through WeChat, or uninstall the App. Purchase records may remain with Google Play according to Google's retention requirements and your Google account settings. Advertising records are retained by WeChat according to its applicable policies. Hosting logs for this page are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, operations, and legal obligations.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including serving this Policy over HTTPS and limiting the collection and transfer of gameplay data. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can disable motion sensing, sound, or vibration in the App's Settings. You can remove local records by clearing the App's or Mini Program's local data or uninstalling the App. Google Play provides controls for purchase history and payment information, and WeChat provides controls relevant to its platform and advertising services.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or portability of personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To submit a request or ask a privacy question, use the developer contact details displayed on the App's applicable distribution page. We may need to verify your request before responding.
9. Children's Privacy
Rattle Drum may appeal to users of different ages, including families. The App does not require a child to create an account or directly submit a name, phone number, email address, contacts, precise location, photo, or voice recording for core gameplay. Children should use the App with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party platform feature, contact us through the developer details on the applicable distribution page and contact that platform where appropriate.
10. International Processing
Local gameplay and settings data are not uploaded by the App. Information processed by Google Play, WeChat, DCloud components, or hosting providers may be handled in countries or regions where those providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your place of residence.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy when features, service providers, technology, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised Policy at this address and update the date above. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where applicable law requires it.
